I just bought one too. Started putting it on this evening. Where is everyone putting the two electronic modules that were originally located just ahead of the tail light? The pictures shown so far really don't give this detail... I'm guessing vibation probably isn't good for the electronics

I wanted as much space as possible, as I wanted to be able to put my raingear under there... So I moved the larger one outside the metal frame on the side, fastening it with a pair of zip-ties around the rubber parts, should be fine that way... The smaller one I managed to fit in at the very rear where the frame ends... Needed a small bracket out of a thin piece of aluminum to secure it though... Also this way the cables are nicely routed and out of the way...

Okay - worked out the modules. I was able to get them both outside the frame. Zip ties through the original rbber mounts. My computer also donated a mouse pad to cushion the mounthing sites.
So just how legal is it to mount the tag inside the wheel well ahead of the tire? I saw the other pics and have mounted mine the same way. The tail was so good looking I did not want to mess it up with the plate.
How badly am I now being asked to be pulled over? Guess I really know the answer to that but I was wondering how common/often you guys have seen it.

Sorry to bring this thread back. But I ordered one these and they dont have the right color that I ordered. Anyone know how much it might cost to get it painted the right color?

I wouldnt think you would have much into that, I would ask local paint shops in your area, just get a phone book and start calling. They should give you a pretty decent estimate over the phone.
