There's many more of them that have been mounted on bigger cruisers here in the states which means there should be plenty of material to mod down to Superhawk size. When Shayne did his on OzFirstorm I think the transplants cost him $300 a pair or more.

Thanks for the link and suggestions. I am really looking for "real world" experience. How do they fit, quality, performance, value, also view, right now I'm staring straight at my elbows.

Plz more info on Suzi model, fitment difficulties & pics

Whose sidecover covers, rear sets, sliders, lower, levers & pipes (Devil?)?

I see an Ohlins shock, Corbin, Ventura headlight cover & Superbrace fork brace...

Very nice fast red one too...

More details on the gixxer mirrors if someone has it.

Are they long enough to solve the "watch your elbows" issue?

Is there some more detailed info posted on the installation process?

Well, you could just put "GSXR mirror" into search... It might actually give you an answer, just like magic... Try it...

I found these with integrated signals that have a lot of position adjustability and will bolt right on, unfortunatly they don't include how long the stems are so no idea if you will actually be able to see past your elbows when mounted.

I made my own brackets for my awesome gsxr mirrors. BUT you can use pep boys stick on LED strips to do it on any mirror if you want to avoid hard work. I have a thread on how to make em running lights too.

I used the FZ1 mirrors any model from 2001 to 2005 and they worked perfect, bolt right up. The only thing you need is the 4 mounting nuts, they do vibrate a bit and dont have turn signals but now I'm able to see the tail section of my bike.(So I dont mind the vibration) Improved field of view by 1000%.

Question

Anyone ever put a set of these on the VTR?

Looks like they have intergrated LED turn signals on the mirrors, too:

I suspect you won't be able to see much behind you, but they sure look clean on the bike.

To avoid horrible wrecks, you generally want wider mirrors like gsxr or r1. Those would be useful only for endangering yourself horribly.

I am against fashion over function, but fashion to endanger seems really stupid. IMO, motorcycling is already extremely dangerous, why stack the deck against yourself?

I did the Frazer mirror mod, which BTW is a good upgrade, and used this method to mount them At Grommit's garage: Fazer mirrors on Superhawk
No, they don't have integrated turns, but I mentioned it because I used the mounting brackets that came with the Frazer mirrors to mount the GSXR mirrors I now have on the bike. The Frazer brackets and GSXR mirrors (after the GSXR brackets are removed) require some grinding (I used a bench grinder and a file) to get the angles right. It was a lot simpler than custom fab'ing new brackets. Matching the angles is a bit tedious but well worth it. I was able to re-use the SH rubber boots, though the fit isn't perfect it's close enough. Used the two to three wire fix to enable both running lights and turns. There may be a write-up on this forum, but I used this one Convert 2 wire signals to 3 Wire Inputs - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners

Personally, to avoid horrible wrecks, I never look behind me (unless I'm riding with others).
I rather pay full attention to where I'm going to evaluate my options vs where I've been.
If someone is going to hit me from behind, they better kill me dead.

Bar end mirrors not only add to your bike's overall width; but in order to view what's behind you, you will have to take your eyes off the direction that you travel further than OEM mirrors; worse than those pig spotters IMO.

Anybody know if these would work? Adjustable at the mounting points, but I don't know about the angle of the dangle...

I know the 6r mirrors fit but am not sure the fz6 are the same but bet they are. Usually mirrors fit on same brands. (except honda cbr vs vtr/vfr)

I wouldn't buy this crap (excuse the language). Local friend bought some, and they fold in the wind, and once we fixed the problem, they shake like
crazy past 80 (50miles).

Oh, I would'nt have. I can tell the quality of their construction by the photo, let alone the price tag. But someone might try them. Well, maybe not after hearing how they fold in the wind, lol. That bad, huh?

I bought these after my annonymous tip over broke my emgo gsxr1k mirror. They have shockingly good mirror optics and great view but they dont fold in like the emgos, so probly wont survive tips.

Hi!

I bought these LED turn signal integrated mirrors from the Louis Motorcycle Company here in Germany.

FAIRING MIRROR HIGHSIDER - Louis - Motorcycle & Leisure

Like them because the mirrors are not so big and clunky.

For the holes in the fairing i use the side turn signals from a Fiat Punto with LED lights. They fit very well in the original openings.
For the rear turn singnals i use high power LED micro indicators.

Here's a short video of the turn signals on my VTR.

In reality the turn signals are much brighter then on the video.
