Lowering my hawk

So I have searched and searched but the only thing I have found to lower my 1998 Honda superhawk is the adjustable links on eBay is there any other way I could lower my bike? I cannot reach the ground at stops I'm not worried about handling or performance i only use the bike for around town and to work please help

Well, performance isn't much of an issue, but ground clearance is an issue with this bike. The headers scrape on a non-lowered bike, and a lowered one will be even worse.

You can cut some foam out of your seat, and/or wear riding shoes with a thicker sole. Every little bit helps.

Also, look up lukenukem47- he was adamant about lowering his bike and I think he found a kit on ebay or something

This is a strange request(IMO) being that I am 5'10" and NOW a 205 lbs(all muscle/Yeah right) and stand on my tip toes , at the traffic lights.

I would contact JamieDaughtry.... He knows the S-hawk and would direct you correctly...

+1, I forgot about that... yeah if you want suspension advice, he's the one to get ahold of.
