High mount exhaust

Hello all

I am wondering if there is such a thing as a Yoshimura RS-3 high mount system. I am looking for the non race version. Also if anyone has one for sale let me know.

I would also consider other brands, but dont want anything really loud

Grats, you have been around for a while. I plan on being here for a while

Is there another reasonably quiet pipe out there that is high mount? Something close to the sound level of the RS-3? Is there anyone that makes custom pipes to move RS-3 pipes up higher?

They did make more of a 'high exit' system. I had the full system years ago. It did have the larger diameter 'race' baffles. I don't know if they ever made just a slip-on high exhaust. Here are a few pics of it....

Yeah they did make this full high exit race system back when ours bikes first came out, and a similar one for the Tl1000s. Badass. It's got the rc51 "low to high" look. There's a guy locally by me that had a superhawk for sale with this on it. He claimed he could still get it new from puerto rice (don't ask me) but it was like $1500 or something crazy.
Otherwise I haven't seen them for sale in forever.

Ti, you may want to experiment with just a set of high mount hangers and try to pivot the low mount rs-3's up. I know it worked for me with a set of low mount hindles and a pair of high mount two brothers hangers. Gave the same look as the yosh full system jbeber has in the pics & everything still fit up fine. If you want to try them out I have a pair of the tbr hangers in the classifieds.
