Foot Pegs?

Anybody know if these are decent? Or anyone buy from this seller before?

Wondering how stable these things would be, almost look like foot would slip on this style....Dunno....that is why I ask the question.....

Thanks

I had similar styled footpegs. The footpegs were fine, unless they were wet (rain) or otherwise slippery (either my boots or the pegs were covered in mud).

Before I put the rearsets on I had some LP slash cut foot pegs that were really nice with no slipping issues.

CBR1000RR pegs are a good replacment for stock. They fit using all the existing hardware and still fold. The look matches the rear pegs and they're not that expensive.

Hey Cliffhangertx,
When I get my Gilles rearsets installed I'll sell you my silver Competition Werks Slash Cuts for a good price!
A couple more weeks & they should arrive from "Der Fatherland" or where ever Wild Hair Accessories ordered them from.

They're cheap enough to buy new at ronayers.com You don't need pins or springs or anything else. All the existing hardware fits.

Hard pegs offer improved feel. You'll be surprised at the difference.

Re: Foot Pegs?

thanks for the tip, but I am looking for a cheaper solution than that...they come out to $67 plus shipping for the original CBR1000RR pegs on that site...nice, but more than I want to pay right now....

Re: Foot Pegs?

I went with the Competition Werks slash cut in silver as well. I really like them, they fold and use the factory springs. There has been no slipping issues with muddy boots, riding in rain, or anything else. In fact they sometimes grip too well... I picked them up for around $45 shipped, I just don't remember from where.

As near as I can tell, the Pro Tek slash cuts are exactly the same. They both fold, as do most of the LP replacement pegs.

I would recommend them, and buy a nother set if I needed.
