bar end mirrors + full fairings?

Wonder who had bar end mirrors on a full fairing hawk? I've been toying with the idea of it but can't picture it. Also how did you fill the mirror mounting holes? Does a player from say a gsxr fit or fit close enough to use?

That looks pretty sweet man. Do you have any shots of the plates you have covering the holes?

Funny this came up, I just had my left one fall off the bike and get run over by the car behind me on my way into work yesterday lol

Looks like this on the bike:

Looks like this now

They weren't lying though, they are real glass! Got a new set coming from Ebay for $17 shipped, so good deal too.

The end where the bar end would have been is just a large, flat headed allen screw if I recall.

Looks good. Well unbroken anyway :-)

I think I'm gonna look for some cheap blinkers and have it swapped over winter

$17 shipped from these folks (where I got mine from):

Mine went into CBR handlebars, but if the inner is the same diameter they should work fine. What side do you need? I have a right one that I'm not using (or left if you put it on the other way up I suppose).

i may only run one for now. what side does the law require you to have? left?

When I put bar ends on my VFR I bought some flat carbon fiber sheet and cut out little block off covers for the OEM mirror mounts. CF is a bitch to cut!!!

see i was thinking of doing something like that but out of aluminum, cutting it to shape and then smoothing it by hand to what i wanted and countersinking some flat screws so they sat flush with it. i still may. maybe itll be a get away from the wife winter project
