Anybody tried these???

I actually just put one of these on. I bought mine from X3 racing on ebay, but it looks to be the same exact thing. They are pretty bright, but the signals flash pretty fast. You'll have to get a resistor to slow them down, but other than that, I like um.

Still I like mine and will keep it. Though I'll be adding a nother set at the widest point of the undertail this week.

The brake light is great, the signals not so good. In most day light sunny conditions, they are all but un seeable. At night they do work and are visable, but so close togeather and centered on the bike.. Never trust them to clearly show your intent to turn.

Cool. There is another superhawk in Oxford, trying to get to join in on the ride this weekend. Could you imagine four of us on sh's from the same area?

Thats great ! I saw JOEMama from the GSB board may be bringing his SH . We might have a mini SHOG rally , LOL . I also may have my usual riding buddy coming with me on his GSXR1k . So whats that 8 or 9 people now ?

I got one, My high pipes kinda eliminated the stock signal location. It flashes turns fast, so I may install the resistors to slow it down. I don't like clear tail lights as a rule, but this one is kinda cool.

For the price I wouldn't buy anything but a real Clear Alternatives light with some kind of warranty. Properly built LEDs should last longer than you'll ever need.

Thanks 996 I bought mine off of ebay but it was an actual shop that lists stuff on ebay all the time and I have bought other stuff from them. When I pull my bike out of storage in a few weeks Im going to see if I can take it apart and fix it myself or just send it back and try an get a new one. Its just goofy there is a total of 6 white leds for the license plate light and only the 3 on the left flash the other 3 stay on steady.

Yup I had 3 on the right that flashed. I tried fixing it too with no luck. I'm not sure if it was the circuit board or the leds but each set of three lights on the right and left for the license plate have a different power supply or diode so It must be related to one of those. If I had known the hassle I was getting into I would have just killed the license plate lights and used something else to light it up.
