600rr Superhawk

I had some extra time with the camera today. The 600rr bodywork looks like it will fit with only minor trimming around the radiator. Some custom brackets will also be required, but wouldn't be too big of a deal. Thought someone might want to see these pics.

Cool! The CBR guys are going to do a double-take when you fire that thing up.

I'm not going to do this. I already had the parts laying around, and wanted to see how they looked. I was thinking someone on the forum might want to do this install. I would have tried, but I already got my sharkskinz fairing to install. I am tempted though.

That is a photoshop'ed picture... And it looks like the bottom part of the CBR fairing too me... There is still a part of the VTR chin fairing visible above the "D" in Honda...

i would love the 2 head lights for night time, but reason i bought superhawk i j/ love the lines off it, it would b alot of fun pullin up beside a dummy lookin like that and then smoke em, i starting tomorrow building a custom belly pan out of thin aluminium for a friend with a zr-750, it a 01 model, pretty sure thats wut they call it, its a "sport touring" its his first bike and paid a $800 for it, not worried bout weight, i want 2 kno the weight of a skarkskinz lower 2 compare, i might attempt one for my hawk if within 5-9 lbs diff. j/ thinkin and l have a 2000 spool gun for aluminium thats great and like i said light thin aluminium not bulky, its worth a shot if 2 heavy i ll scrap it

I was wondering if the mufflers collect water when it rains?

ha it would have 2 without a doubt, dont park in rain, if cranked right after rain stopped and blew out and evaporated ne in there, it would have 2 come major flood 2 get 2 motor, but if let it sit a while and stile cranked over time it would slowly rust and full exhaust hard 2 come by these days for us

I absolutely love that rear end!! Being it's basically a Fireblade, does anyone know if I can simply direct bolt it onto my 2003 Superhawk or does it need some modding first??

Like the 600RR look, just remember that the stock plastics direct air through the side-mounted radiators, so the 600 plastic may not allow for as much cooling.
