The VTR1K at 10K
Took a brisk lunchtime spin over Kenosha Pass today. Looking to the SW off of Hwy 285...
Then I descended the Pass and went closer to this spur of the Mosquito Range. 13,600ft. Bald Mountain is the backdrop...
Sweet bike this is. Good riding in '05 everyone.

Nice pics !
What mains jets do you have in the bike ?
Once while traveling up Pikes Peak Rd in a Ford Crown Vic the dang thing was rich , a given there but man , open the throttle up and the powervalve would richen the mixture up even more to the point it would only idle .
I pulled vacuum hoses off till I could get up to the summit and that would include the power brake hose
The first time I was there " while still caffiened for typing " I was on my new 1978 Honda 750 SS and in the gravel at a dead stop I could rev to redline , dump the clutch in 1st and only spin maybe 12ft . No air , even my lungs could tell
