OK, So anyone can do this right? I nominate my bike for going places & doing things that other VTRs just havent. The last 2 nights have been 9 degrees and I am still riding. This is my bike. A trooper, the marine of VTRs. YES that is snow and YES I ride it on the mean streets of NYC even now. Those are arctic cat snomobile handguards, delrin bar ends and exhaust sliders (its been down on both sides: still orig bodywork), F4i frame sliders, f4i calipers, TBR carbon pipes, GIVI custom wingrack, cbr900 hugger, corbin, custom underseat trunk (holds kryptonite chain/tools/air compressor). touring screen, race tech fork, cruise control. I guess thats it. Turns out these bikes can do anything.....SmokinJoe

NICE!

If I'm going to put it between my legs it's going to be that clean. The little lady expects the same.

If we're out tearing it up in the mud that's a different thing.

Performance street is just that.

Great looking bike.

Thanks... It got a nice scrub down when I did the work last year on the front end and exhaust... it's amazing what 4 cans of WD-40 and a boat load of paper towels can do!!!

Thank you all for the compliments, this whole VTROTM has given me a much needed kick in the *** to get back to working on some bike projects that have taken a back seat over the past year or so. Thanks again to everyone who voted, and inderocker for getting this going.

Thank you for being a part of it! Without you guys entering your VTR's into VTROTM these threads wouldn't have much to them!

Is there a way to change the home page of the forum so that the VTROTM can be displayed there?

Exclamation WAIT!!!!! Last minute entry PLEASE!!!!????

I've been wanting to put my bike in the vtroftm month for some time, but always thougyt of it when the voting end of it was being done.

Anyways, here she is. 1998 Superhawk, bought c ompletely totalled as a parts bike for my other hawk. I couldn't rape her of all her goodies, the goodfella I am, so I gave her a new chance at life. Although I shouldn't have. Knowing it had a bad frame I proceeded, getting one off ebay for a mere $30.00, then discovering a broken rear motor mount. Well if I need to replace the block, I may as well replace pistons with JE pistons ROGHT? Well one thing led to another and here she is. I painted it myself, and it looks even better in person.

1998 'Hawk, JE Pistons, Yoshi Cams, Kevlar Clutch, Dynojet kit, K&N air filter, no emmisions, carb coolant bypass, 200mm rear tire, braced swingarm, Cbr954rr front end, GSXR1000 radiator, yeah, now I'm getting boring, so I will stop.
