well I got to thinking, Hmm, would a 180 rear fit on a cr 125? Hmm
Well i got it on. The chain guard sticks out about an inch, that was the hardest part.
TIGHT is an understatement. Its more like an elephant ******* a pig.
so now the bike is composed of Honda, Yamaha, and Ducati.

180 is for mockup purposes. Ill be running cbr F2 wheels with a 150 or 160 rear.
Im gonna go 11.5 to 1 piston from the stock 8.5 to 1.
I have already ported and polished the head.
Im gonna be running a Delorto race spec carb with my own custom intake manifold.
Ill also be building my own full exhaust.
Im shooting for 300 lbs and 60 hp

I am running a 160 on my CRF450, but i have a spoke wheel and moved the rim to the right about a 1/4" to give me some more space for the chain.
CRF450R is about 230 at 55HP and has 12:1 piston stock.
I am seriously thinking about picking up an XR650 and tarding it.

the srx motor will put the chain about an 1/8 or a little more off center than stock. I really doubt the chain will rub the 4.5 inch rear rim but i could care less if it grooves the tire. Ill also have to make an adapter for the sprocket as im eliminating cush drive.

i dont know why i took a pic of the Triumph
Grind one off,
then the other
make a pattern
make sure the piece fits
weld it up. granted its not the prettiest TIG weld ive ever done but i chose strength over looks here.
ITS A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE, the motor hangs by itself.

If you have a sharp eye you will see that i switched from my previous crf 150 seat to my cr80 seat thats on it now. It started raining so i had to be done welding and capping the frame off. So i moved the bike inside and started bending the subframe to tuck up into the cr seat.

capping off the frame where im gonna run the downtube
once that was fully welded up the rain came. I moved the bike inside and started re bending the subframe.
im tucking the subframe up under the lip of the seat so its not seen.
This is the final seat location. I have sat on the bike and its AWESOME

looks good, I need a garage full of tools like yours. Whenever I need to fab something up I have to head to work. And Im still trying to talk them into picking up a mill and a lathe. Than I can really go bonkers. Keep posting picks, this stuff is awesome.

this thing is sick. i wish i knew how to do all this stuff you are doing. my dad can fab stuff up but has no tig welder and has no time to teach me anything or when he does i am working. I am thinking of doing a weird project too... well if i can get the time and money. We picked up a 1975 Bultaco Alpina 250. basically needs a full rebuild on everything. I am thinking of doing more modern suspension on it. we got it for $50 and when fully restored they are worth $600 or so, so i think it would be a great bike for me to learn stuff on. Keep up the good work brotha!
