North Carolina Superhawk

Re: North Carolina Superhawk
Very Nice. I've got the same bike 2004, black with gold rims. I have been saving up to get the exact same pipes. Thanks for the good pics. It really gives me a good idea of the what my hawk will look like with the staintune highmounts. Quick questions, what other brands of exhaust did you look at? Why the staintunes? Is the sound similar to what you can find on clips on the net (haven't heard these pipes on a hawk live)? And where did you get and how much<---if you don't mind me asking? Thanks. Bike really does look awesome.

Cheese,
I really didn't consider too many other brands of exhausts. I knew I wanted the Staintunes, mainly because of the clean look. I had never heard them on a superhawk before either, but I had been able to hear them on quite a few other bikes (mostly VFRs). I promise you would not be dissapointed in the sound. They are loud without being obnoxious. Plus they come with removeable sound restrictors.
RLmotorcycles.com is where I got mine. They were super nice and answered all my emails. Price was around $800. Seems a little steep, but was the cheepest I could find. Plus the craftmanship of these pipes is second to none.
