She'd have to catch me first, outwrestle me second. I'd end up with both wrists in one hand, giving her noogies with the other.

I'm not worried.

Very nice! Street, just track days, racing? Welcome back to the addiction.

nuhawk is on a distinguished road
It's good to see that it only takes a couple years to wear off!

I can't wait to see where you take this one, Rand. She's a beauty to begin with.

Just track days, Mike. That's the place to learn about the technical stuff.
I'd like to ride the roads again, but my wife thinks it's the most terrifying thing imaginable. Anything over 45 MPH is too fast in her book. Probably wouldn't be an RC51 if I did. It seems a shame to take off all that nice bodywork, but better than breaking it into little pieces. Not sure if I should keep it or sell it. Probably sell it. I don't think I'll ever get rid of this bike.

I paid a visit to Bob's house on Saturday, with a few questions about how to do some things like repackage the electronics lower and further forward. He showed me some pictures of an aluminum box he built for a small battery and the electronics. I'll need and HRC wiring harness, so I'm looking for one of those.

Then, since he had his computer out, he started showing me his pictures from the RC51 racing days and his pictures of Suzuka, when he went over there in '01 or so (as a spectator). He was cruising around with the Moriwakis and crew. Hanging out having beers with Colin Edwards, Doug Polen, Kurtis Roberts, Dan Kyle and some big Japanese WSB riders. Pretty amazing what a big name he made for himself working in his garage after work.

Cool, my wife thinks the same way, she'd rather have me racing at full speed on the track than out on the roads.
