Really beautiful !

And what should I say about your deal ....

... in France a '03 VTR with 40 000 km (25 000 miles) is around 4 500 euros!!! ($6750)

either the VTR is cheap in US, either you are the most lucky guys I know !

Nope... that's just the way it is out here. VTR's are very underrated for the most-part.

Finally got the Sargent seat in today. Fitment is good, although not as good as the stock seat... but we knew that already. Feels pretty good sitting on it in my ice cold garage, I can't wait to put some real seat time on it though.

I didn't pay anything for it... how's that for a deal!
Actually the wife paid for it as it was my Xmas present.
The best price I could find for one that did not have red welt was at
http://www.exoticsportbike.com/
It was 359....Not much of a deal.

Added some LED turn signals that I found at the garage today. They fit inside the hole perfectly, and stick out just enough to make the visible from the front. They are your basic 2 wire unit's, so no running lights... unless you have a tail light integrator (trailer wiring kit) Hid the integrator behind the instrument panel to keeps things neat and tidy. IMO, They are much better that the "cat eye's" I had on there previously.

Thanks for the new "dusk" pics you put up today. Beautiful rose-colored sky.

How is that Sargent seat treating you? Does it force you into one riding position?

I've got about 1k miles on it, so far so good. It's a lot flatter than the stock so it's easier to move back and forth. It's a little wide for the twisties, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I honestly have not had a chance to push the VTR to see how it will really do. From what I can tell, it is a vast improvement over the stocker when going over bumps through a corner, it seems to keep that *** glued down pretty good. It's hard for me to differentiate which end is the better improvement since I got the race tech forks on at the same time. Either way, for FREE.99 I can't complain!

Sounds good. I've heard the Corbin kind of comes up in the front at the tank. I like it flat.
