My 2000 Superhawk custom
This is my custom faired 2000 superhawk, what do you think? She has 43,000 miles and a few wrecks under her belt but what a trooper. Also just built a custom rack so I can haul my sleeping bag and pad on a trip coming up next week end.

I like the headlights, cool look. That rack turned out nice too. What's it made of? Did you build it from scratch or was it something else in a previous life. Great fit if that's the case.

I built the rack from sratch, its aluminum and probably only weighs 6 oz tops. Sofar its just a prototype I might alter a few things but Im going to use it first then decide if anything needs improvement on it. You can take it off in 1 minute too and its secured so people can't get it off when the seat is locked.

I was thinking about making and selling a few racks to anyone who is interested. I just don't know how may hawk owners might want one. The headlights were a gamble on how they would look and turn out but for $30 instead of $300 for me it was an obvious choice after my crash. I don't have much money to spend so I either make things work or I don't have them. I also build things like the rack. That way I have something unique and affordable, and in some cases almost free.
