Damn what a project! Red frame takes some getting used to. I like the mods you've done. Keep it up!

Looks like your exhaust prototype will double as a leg warmer for cold days!

Nice Frame paint .
Mine was stolen in 2006, and the cops recovered it wrecked ( dropped and slid both sides, killing the rider ) I thought about painting the frame but just polished it out instead.

If I remember correctly from another person's mod, the VTX1800 radiator is a near perfect match.

I think it was the Shadow radiator, not VTX 1800...the 1800 has a pretty large, beefy radiator (overddesigned IMO) that i don't think would work as well underseat

maybe the 1300's radiator though

Underseat radiator

The gentleman is from California.
It is a VTX1800 radiator
It does fit under the seat.
It's been there for almost three years.

The smartest naked storm that I've ever seen. Very understated, classic looking and well thought out.

Naked Hawks rule

Hey Hawxter996,
Been watching your progress with great anticipation and a smile on my face.
I know that there have been several posts about the side mounted radiators making the naked hawks stand out but I'm really glad that you're not going that way.
That engine deserves to be showcased instead of concealed behind those radiators.
Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Any moron that steals a Superhawk and is going to "drive it like you stole it" will be dead in the first twenty miles. If I don't catch him, the bike will.

I love this project. Im thinking about doing the rc swingarm swap. Do you have any idea how much longer it is than the stock piece?

the biggest drawback of the swap is ,it does add at least two inches to the wheelbase.
i just need to get off of my *** and start working on it again.
