When Does Your Clutch Engage?

When Does Your Clutch Engage?
I have scoured the forums and ze google in search of input and have found a few posts, but not much. The question is this:
When does your clutch engage? Mine tends to do so at the last ~80%+. The few posts I've read say that that seems to be the norm, an idiosyncrasy of the hawk so to speak. I'd like to get some fresh input on this. Is yours the same? Is my hawk going to explode? Turn into Bumblebee?
Thanks in advance hombres!

Indeed, well aware of this. I ride my dad's BMW R1100GS now and then which has a hydro clutch as well, bit more bite, but comes out a little sooner than my hawk. Really just want to know where yours comes out.

As long as the clutch is engaging and you get no slipping, you should be fine. Mine is pretty much as reported above. I do get some slipping on the track under very hard shifting/accellerating. I've replaced springs with Barnetts, but only somewhat better.

Thanks for your responses, keep em coming, the more input the better. I don't mind the engagement point, actually prefer it for quicker shifting. My girlfriends Buell comes out at about 10% and I find it highly annoying. Just making sure my bike is on the level
