residentg, nice list...
Not sure why you would want to seek out a used marginal replacement unit to replace a like failed one though.
As soon as I get a few more parts, I'll add a list of upgrade donors for a simple to piece together system.
Or contact Circuit burner and get one of his aftermarket R'R units.

I posted a thread somewhere on here with a link to Eastern Beaver, who now sells R/R wiring kits with the Furawa connector, so you can use just about ANY R/R that you want in the Hawk.
I currently have a Kawi ZX-6R in my Hawk. Bought the spade connectors and soldered them up to make my own wiring harness.

Mistakes happen, but you cannot fault a guy who stands up, makes personal contact with each customer and tells you how he is going to make it right.

Residentg, this is good list, if it is OK with you I would like to copy the data to the UK VTR forum, as lots of people would rather go for the new Honda plug in solution, than chop off the wires to fit teh R1 / R6 versions.

E.Marquez, I agree, Jim is a stand up guy. I melted the headlight connector from his relay kit. Contacted him, offered to buy the whole kit again, he sent me the connector free of charge.
AMCQ46, you guys should really check out his site. He offers all of the connectors, including the stock 5 pin connector, as well as the stock 3 pin connector at the stator (the one behind the gas tank).
Here is the link: http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/El...onnectors.html
Other connectors on this page: http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/El...onnectors.html
I have no connection with EASTERNBEAVER.COM other than being a satisfied customer
His headlight relay kit is phenominal for upgrading the headlight wiring.

One thing to keep in mind with that “new OEM” solution.
You will still have a older style, non weather sealed plug.. and if the OEM one is reused, a plug that has many years of oxidation, or worse on/ in it.
Eastern Beaver sells new OEM plugs, or complete wiring harness to effect install on an OEM quality SEALED plug on your Factory style R/R (admittedly, FH012, FH010 R/R’s are not factory on the Honda,, but they should have been. and they are the factory option for a huge group of bikes, that are not known for R/R failures.)
It really is win / win. If you’re not comfortable with installing a new OEM style plug on your old wiring, find a friend or pay a shop the very small fee it would be to do it for you. The benefits outweigh the cost.
