need help identifying a hose and if it is to be left unattached

Hello,
I am in the midst of a cct swap. I have a lot of items off, including the carbs.
When I was removing the front cam cover, I noticed a hose laying horizontally near the oil cooler and frame bar (in the front, near the top.) it ended there and was not attached to anything. i have been labeling all hoses I have disconnected so I know where to replace them. I don't believe I had removed this one.
I want to make sure it is supposed t just lay there.
I can not find either end in any diagram. On page 124 on the manual, it is the tube directly below the "radiator siphon tube", unlabeled. It looks like it disappears behind the radiator to the right and to the left it looks like it goes towards the water pump. On the actual bike it looks like it disappears under the coolant resovoir, to the left.
Any help would be appreciated. Especially before I strat to reassemble.
Thank you.
Darren

Can you post a picture? It'll spring to mind what it is as soon as I can see it I'm betting.

inderocker is an unknown quantity at this point
If it goes under the coolant bottle then it is the radiator overflow hose. It connects just under the radiator cap.

i"ll post one as soon as I get home

I do know it is not the one that hooks to the top of the radiator. I did label that one. It goes up the inside of the frame parallelling that hose. It is longer and goes further up and lays toward the left side of the frame, on top of the oil cooler.
Please check back for the picture this evening.

What size hose? 1"? 3/8"? I just had mine apart recently too.

hose picture for identification.

The hose in the needle nose pliers is just about the location of the hose when I found it.
Thank you.

Looks like the vacuum line for the PAIR controller. Does this bike still have a working PAIR system on it? It would go to the controller on the bottom of the air box for the PAIR system.

NOT a Ca bike.

The PAIR system is still on the bike. I will have to check the hoses when I reassemble. I really need to find the other end under the coolant reservoir. I believe I labeled all of the PAIR hoses off of the valve, I may have missed on when pulling the airbox.
Where does this go on the airbox? I will see if i have one labeled to go there on reassembly.
Thanks.

Bottom side of air box were the PAIR attaches. Should have a small vacuum line to control it.

is anyone familiar with the fuel breather tube?

I looked some more on re-assembly. It looks like the fuel breather tube joins a "t" underneath the coolant reservoir, on the front side. By the diagrams, one side exits on the left of he bike with 2 other hoses, near the oil pan, by the road. When I pull on the hose it looks like both ends go to the fuel breather tube, goin to the tank. This is how I found the "t".
The PAIR connection was left on the carb body, so I don't believe it is the PAIR hose.
I think the one should be left not connected up in front of the heat shield, bt the front cyl. and carb.
The diagrams in the manual only show the fuel breather going somewhere near the right side of the bike, under the coolant reservoir. Anther diagram also also shows the fuel breather exiting on the left of bike by the crank / road. No diagram shows the hose up near the front.
see the pics above. The hose is fairly long and zip tied to the inside of te right of the frame tube, going up toward the headlight.
Does anyone have any knowledge if this is true, I don't want to leave it un-connected if it isn't supposed to be. Esp. while I have it all opened up.
TIA
