Carb sync using a mighty vac
Here's the hook-up, be sure to use the brake bleed bottle on the mighty vac to damp the vacuum pulses.
Clamp off one line at a time and compare average (middle of needle swing) then adjust to be equal.

Re: Carb sync using a mighty vac
Great Idea! This will finally give me the reason to buy a new miti-vac. My current one is several years old and the guage is no longer readable from the cheap brake cleaner spray I've used on it so many times. Still works tho'.
Do you use anything special to clamp the lines with, out of the ordinary?
I'm re-posting your pics in case that link goes bad in the future.

Thanks! I like that best of all (though I might still make my other puck-tube idea anyways).
Question: Do you need the mighty vac for anything, or shouldn't any old vacuum guage do?
I'm sure I could use the guage out of any of my various turbo vehicles... :-) But the resivour-as-damper is great!

Well you can do the sync that way, though it is a bit "ghetto"
You would be better off with just a vacuum gauge as the one on the mityvac is pretty low quality.
With that you would just need something to adapt the mityvac line to the size of the vacuum nipples on the bike.
Instead of using the bleed container as a way to stabilize the reading I use a pilot jet pushed into the line as a restriction to accomplish the same thing.
