Superhawk/Firestorm Track Days

Heading to NHMS July 20,21. Anyone else heading that way?

I ran at Spokane raceway with 2 fast track days a couple weeks ago (that's in Washington state- you know up here in the north left corner- lol) good time - the track was pretty wet in the morning but dried out good. I am a beginner on the track but it worked out good since the turnout was low due to races elswhere, they broke us out into 2 groups which gave us more track time. The track was a little tricky and kinda crude compared to the bigger tracks but still fun as hell. I was slower than most of the newer bikes on the straights but the hawk corners with the best of them so there was a lot of getting passed on the long straightaway only to out brake them at the corners. Hopefully with a littlemore tuning on the bike and some more track time for me that will change. Next track is pacific raceway in seattle.

spokane is a fast track just like PIR ( portland ), did you guys run the entire front staight or the shorter one ?

Had a good couple of days at the track. I can hardly walk my legs are so tired. Day and a half in the dry and half a day in the rain.

Question, I am running Avon rains, any recommendations on tire pressure for these?

i've never ran rains. good for you for getting out there, i'm not sure i'd ride a wet track. my luck has been VERY good as i've never had to make that call.

If you do get a rain day I highly recommend getting a set of rains. It was amazing what you can do on them. It really made me smooth out there.

Heading to Thunderbolt for 21,22. Will be done at the track on the 20th. Anyone else going to be there?
