If you're asking me, we got about 3 to 4 inches in the Charlotte area. More as you go north, and I think the mountains got a lot more. I think they got more to the east of us as well.
But it really doesn't matter. This is NC, so it will melt as soon as the sun comes out.

Ride the gap midweek if you can. Stayed on a Tues, Wed and Thurs. Cops didnt show up till Thurs. Traffic was also heavier on Thurs. Ride skyway too. Have fun man!
NCDave, what roads should I hit in WV? Headin down to Fayetteville the weekend of May 22nd.

Actually staying with some family just outside of town and the BMW group were riding with has ties with the lodge (?) not sure the details. oh and btw-as far as the snow goes... You've gotten more than we have ALL YEAR in MI. no complaints here really, i just wish it would warm up enough to ride! haha . Thanks for the tips. @Joedres. well be arriving sometime late tues night and staying through sunday, so the early/midweek ride will work out perfect. Thanks!

Most everything east of 79 and 77 are terrific roads. when we go, we always get on 16 in charlotte and it runs all the way to Beckley. it's a great road. Try 219, 92, 50 or 33 heading east toward VA. also 250 and 39. We try to zig zag across them, starting with 50 and working our way south on VA220 and either 92 or 219. We did a number of great roads in southern WV west of Beckley and Princeton too.
