Chicago Area VTR Ride
Its time Chicagoland VTR riders did a group ride.

Post up with dates.

I'm thinking meeting up at Full Moon on Rt 41 and heading to SE WI.

I propose either 08-01-09, 08-02-09, 08-01-09, 08-08-09 or 08-09-09.

Meet at Full Moon

about 0730 have breakfast and sidestands up by 0900 (I'll have maps)

head up back roads to Eagle, WI thru Lower Kettle Morraine forests

we can be back to the latitude of the Full Moon in 5 hours (or longer if you'all like the roads) including stopping for lunch.

One of the above dates should also be selected as the alternate rain day

After last weekends Flat 4 Tour which was unfortunately cut short when the group of nine I was in turned back from the Gay Mills/Viroqua, WI area after 1 of our group hit a guardrail and died and 2 more crashed following him (1 was only banged up & 1 got broken collarbone, all bikes totaled), I'm ready for a leisurely ride up to the Eagle, WI area.

Any takers?
