QFT +1

Don't get me wrong, I love my bike, but in the end it's a chunk of aluminum plastic and steel.. If he pays what you are asking, who cares?

I think the "how old are you ?" thread a while back confirmed my feelings. I though I would be one of the old guys being in my 40's. I was really surprised how many SuperHawk riders where in their 50'-60's. Hopefully someday I'll be one of them riding my "classic, I remember those, blast from the past" original owner VTR!

Back on topic.... No I wouldn't be insulted. If I am at the point of selling I am done with whatever it is and have lost all interest in it. I wonder whatever happened to my Baby Blue '91 Firebird? Man I loved that car!
First off--sorry for the thread jack.I'm working on 58.

going back to the original post why do people get classics or rare items then park them? they say "their too nice to ride/drive" do you really think a rare race bike, show bike, custom piece is shown any dignity by collecting dust. I don't think their is any other way to really to show your respect to the machine by taking it out and doing what it was made too do, not parking it in a garage and riding a less equipped cheaper bike. dude needs to get a clue. want a beater? get a wife. or maybe one of f4i's i see cutting traffic while its still doing 70 with a Mohawk on top of a helmet tank and flip flops. or better yet take a class and stay out of the dirt.. highly doubt that guy is that fast.

rant off.

Damm you guys are still talking about this.I would be surprised if mr.repsol has ever even owned a bike.Reminds me of the loser my girl friend let sleep on our couch for a couple of days.Weeks later I had to kick the guy out,he had a gold plated harley in storage.
Cash talks but what if he said ..."Im gonna stunt it bro,I'll post some video's"
