Stephan, what size LED did you use? Did you use the auto-dimming version and, if so, is it unobtrusively dim enough at night? Is it bright enough in the sunlight? Sorry for all the questions - I thought you had posted about this before, but I can't find anything about Sparkbright voltage monitors on this forum now.
Can you see the amber color? I read on another forum where someone complained about not being able to see the amber due to a gentetic color vision deficiency. They claimed the LED isn't truly 3-color, but that the amber is a combination of the green and red.
thedeatons, why do you want it out after 30 seconds? The constant green lets you know it's still working. Lighting up at ignition and then going out is how idiot lights usually work, true, but if it's illuminated, you get reams more information than an extinquished dot.
