Wind protection - comparison
I'm currently looking to upgrade my commuter (Kawasaki Ninja 250R) to something with more oomph (I'm 6', 200lbs). My short list includes the Superhawk and a Yamaha FZR600R. I'm partial to the Superhawk, but am curious how the wind protection of the fairing compares to both my current bike and the Yamaha. From sitting on them, it appears that the Superhawk would be worse than the Yamaha, but I'm not sure how much worse (and likewise, it looks like the Superhawk would be better than the Ninja, but again I'm not sure how much better).
Alas, test rides of more than "around the block" have proven scarce. Anybody have experience with these bikes that they could share?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Where in TX are you at?? I'm in central TX (or so they tell me,,only been here a few weeks) Near Killeen. I might be willing to let ya take my SH for short spin (assuming the you break it you buy it rule as is normal would apply) if your close.... ,,Tried to go for a ride this morning,,, but it got a bit cold... I'm 5'6" and the wind hits me right at the neck,, and I get some at the sides of my shoulders and torso.

Appreciate the info guys. Especially appreciate the offer, bronco, but I'm around 175 miles away in the Dallas metroplex (Flower Mound, to be exact), so I probably won't be able to take you up on it any time soon.
I definitely understand what you mean about the cold front rolling in 85+ degrees yesterday (but wiiiiindy), 45 today.
