What did you do with your SuperHawk today?

Sorry Ion, I can't tell which hose you're referring to. Here is a link to the service manual that you can download, lots of good diagrams for hose and wire runs near the front.

My SOP is trolling for laughs, BTW. I know where the hoses go.
And factory service manuals look so much better with dirty fingerprints in them. I don't think the one that came with this lovely machine had ever been opened.
How do you think this bike would perform with a 200 cm swingarm mod?

Oil change and filter.
New air filter with Bernie Morgan mod,
Sorted the rear hugger in preparation for a ride tomorrow.
Looking at a new back shock so asked Pavel at the local bike parts place to price a YSS for me. I just know the standard back shock isn't gunna cut it when I do the USD mod. The exact revers of when I braced the swinger, the front felt shithouse and the back felt great.
It's not as hard to reach the design parameters on the VTR as some of the other bikes I have owned!
Of course this Leeds one to changing the bike and before you know it you are sucked in and have that terrible affliction known as OCMD ! ( I have previous experience)
Looking forward to tomorrow !

Heh, I just noticed the baffle plate today and thought, "self, some dumbass engineers specified this thing for reasons. You should drill a bunch of holes in it to reduce turbulent airflow across the forward part of the filter."
and so was born the ion filter plate mod, independent of that genius Bernie Morgan, may he rest in peace.
and then I went and shot my CZ75B.
then I found out that the left connector pipe that Delkevic sent doesn't fit properly, so emails.

Thanks! It was my first time wrapping and getting it uniform in that small space with my big hands produced cursing and bleeding. Not to mention I forgot to wear gloves so my hands swelled in reaction to all the embedded fiber glass. I may try again since it will be up on the stand for a few more days. Also, apparently there is a silicone sealant one is supposed to apply to the wrap, but it only comes in a spray can, and well, that looks like it would be a mess.
Has anyone applied the sealant before wrapping?

Just a brain fart..
Maybe not exactly the right thread to say that, but I have to say, I am so proud of you all, for not bringing up politics here, seems everywhere else it's overwhelming...
Bless you all and may this forum outlive our bikes!!! Cheers mates

Fabricated a new location/support post that previous owner broke off of rear headlight assembly. I hope it holds up! Materials are off the shelf nylon trim panel retainer re-purposed by using a hand drill to lathe, mill, and drill to specs, and plastic adhesive. Prep was with tungsten carbide milling/shaping tool on Dremel.
Good but molested side for reference:
