What color should I use?

I have a yellow S/H. I was wanting to personalize it some by making some parts a different color (powdercoating, paint, or decals ). I can't seem to decide what will go with yellow. I once had a bmx bike as a kid that was the same yellow with Metallic bright blue also. It looked pretty cool. What do you all think?

Also, what type of paint is good on plastic? Thanks for any comments.

i think blue or black would look best. maybe red, but probably not. it just depends on how much you want it to resemble a suzuki. haha.

Someone here posted photos of a yellow hawk with grey or silver highlights. Looked really sharp. Didn't see the bike in the gallery though.

Here's a little preview of your yellow/blue experiment. I think the blue should be a bit darker though.

Yes, I'm biased on these colors! See my mower:

She is still red but there's a lot of black. I used not so perfect fairings, sanded down smooth again, and Krylon Fusion Plastic paint. Some places came out well, other spots not perfect but it all looks good. A coat of clear would have finished it off properly. If you do something like this, get some not so pretty fairings and keep your mint stock ones so you can change back. I was super ambitious I would have painted the sides of the tank black and the sides of the front fender with black pin stipes in the red...or red pinstripes in the black...hmmmm....the fairings are off the bike right now....nothing to do tomorrow....

Too much black might make it look like a bee though. Maybe the front fender, lower parts of the side fairings, and tail section for a nice black line that flows along the whole bike.

Nice looking bikes. I like the blue and yellow now that I see it on a real specimen. I thought about doing the front like the red and black bike only blue/yellow. Thanks for the ideas.
