either way, there is no head damage (luckiest day of my life considering i usually get the **** end of the stick.) so i bought APE CCT's installed those, etc etc, i have to put the engine back in since i pulled it out to check out the heads, cams, valves you name it.
the engine mounts have the craziest lock nut spacer assembly the world has ever known. you need a $60 dollar tool from honda. ( wich takes a lovely 5 days to come in ) for me to complete installation of my bikes motor.
so i wait.

this is what im dealing with
these ****** lock bolts
are adjusting those spacers
what happens is, when you back those out, install the motor, and retighten them down good, your essentially stretching the fram a tiny bit, and when you pull the motor back out, it comes in, just enough so you cant get the motor in, i hope you can understand my aggrivation. lol.

WOW!
After seeing those pix, I know I lucked out when I was putting the engine back in my KZ1000. I only had to lay the engine on it's side and work the frame over it.
Good luck with the reconstruction.

I've rebuilt 3 superhawks and putting the motor back in the frame is so goddamn frustrating. I'm sure a chisel would be the perfect tool for it, but eventually the pieces do slide into alignment. Been there, done that bro.
