Visiting Portland and Seattle area
I decided to check out Portland and Seattle areas. I spent a week with the family doing the rush and see things last week. This week my friend Mike flew in and now it is guys vacation time. We will be checking out mostly motorcycle shops and salvage yards as well as some sight seeing. Today we went to MotoCorsa (Ducatti, Aprillia, MV Agusta, Lotus?). WOW! big kid toy heaven. Aside from some incredible machines to view we got to see the last MotoGP in held Italy on their huge projector screen (incredible race action) set above two Lotus cars. The place rocks (literaly) with a great sound system and in house DJ and a dance floor??? They even have a coffee bar. Anyway this was the nicest bike shop I've ever been to. The General Manager was from Hawaii so conversation was easy. We did some video tape footage for the Hawaii motorcycle show Mike is putting together so that was a plus.
After seeing the roads here I wish I had my bike to ride. It is so nice to see open road and no clueless tourists lurking on them (except for me).
If any of you folks living in the area know of more places to check out please chime in so we can add them to our list. We will be here until the 13th then back to paradise. Maybe we could meet up for lunch or something...always nice to meet fellow SHawk owners.

Hey BoP, here's a partial list of stuff to do in town:
Bike Shops:
Beaverton Honda, down by where Hwy 217 hits I-5;
EDR performance in Beaverton, directions on their website;
Portland Motorcycle, by airport off of I-205, they're dicks but have cool bikes.
Kelly's Olympian, bar in downtown Portland showing Speed TV so if there's a race on, check out their website.
Check out this site for stuff going on locally, http://www.sportbikes.ws/forumdisplay.php?f=137
Drive out to Vancouver Lake Park and keep going down the road past the park, good chance of seeing a lot of stunting.
