VFR400 conversion?
So I was cruisin around craigslist today and saw this ad.
http://baltimore.craigslist.org/mcy/1232481172.html
At the bottom the guy says that a superhawk motor (typo in the years though) will fit into the VFR400 chasis. Has anyone ever done this or heard of this being done or know if its really possible? If you have some pics of said project please post 'em!

Honda Super Hawk 996 cc motors 1990 thru 04 bolt into this frame. The benefit in handling suspension, braking is well worth the effort. These aluminum single sided swing arm frames are mono shock set ups, superior in strength and weight, the frame and the running gear are far superior to yours.
The "running gear" is in most parts the same as the VTR... so I'm not so sure it's an upgrade on the VTR... It's an upgrade on the viffer engine in that frame though... That's sure going to be one wild little beast...

Well that was made earlier than 90 i belive? And it's certainly isn't a 996... Plus it's already a single swingarm with a mono shock... So that doesn't make sence either...
Not that the add made any sence what so ever...

gents doubt it very much the 400 is a tiny bike (great bike !!) the 400 mtor is a very tight squeeze into this bike . i cant say for sure it cant be done (there have been interceptor 750 motors in ) but i think the superhawk motor is way too tall , i can check it out more as i have a friend driving a vfr 400 i might bsee shortly .
if a longer front end had too go in im sure this would wreck the geometry ....
