Superhawk in the barber Museum
I saw this Superhawk this past weekend in the Barber Motorsports museum. The short description said: Hondas attempt to match Ducati. It was a bit underpowered but made up for it in comfort. Pretty much what it said.

Underpowered my foot. Bone stock (with the temp tag still on it) mine ran neck and neck with my buddies 916 (pipes and chip by the way) from legal speeds all the way to top end. The suspension was another story. Swapping back to back made the Superhawk feel like a 20 year old bike in that department. But the Superhawk's engine made the Ducati's feel weak in the midrange and made just as much power on the top end.
Very cool to see what looks like a brand new example in the museum. And for anyone interested your header is stainless and is just a little elbow grease (in the form of sanding smooth and polishing) away from looking like that. Once you sand out all the texture and machining marks it'll also be much easier to keep that way (though it will turn a beautiful shiny gold from the heat).

Most of the newer bikes descriptions were short. I didn’t agree with some of the literature as well. The really old bikes and historical race bikes got a nice long detailed description. But yes very cool to see that bike there.AMAZING place. NO RC51 LOL that I could see anyway.
