Nice pic. Taken at picnic table turn I see.
That is a nice section of road, especially headed in the direction you are in this pic.
You ride it very often? I think I have seen you there before.
I am new to the SH forum but already I think it would be nice to try and plan a get-together at Deal's Gap for SH owners.
Maybe some time next summer.
Anyways, there are a few pics in my "new guy saying hello" thread in this forum from a recent trip of mine to The Dragon.
I plan to be there July 29,30,31 with my son.
We'll be on the CBR 1000F for that trip.
Maybe we'll meet up there one day.

Ride safe.

HotStreetVTR never talks about his little brother who always tags along:

It seems the SuperHawk is well represented at the Dragon:

Any of these members?

For those who've never ridden it; the turns are tight and frequent (understatement of the year) and a long straight is about 100 yards! Needless to say, a good torquey bike that can squirt out of the corners is perfect there.

Doug,
Thats me in the yellow/black leathers.
I am a (new) member to the forum here, and so glad I found it!

I'd love to plan a Superhawk get-together at Deal's Gap one day.
See you there?

Lets stop talking and actually set something up. I went a year ago and would love to get back there it's not only the dragon that's fun to ride up there. I have a map that I bought at the deals gap store with hours of twisty loops. We also rode the chalohoula parkway (spelling?) which was a blast. nothing but long sweeping turns at about 80 - 90 mph.

I've been looking for a good excuse to get back there.
