SUPER HAWK SUPER DEAL
I found myself another bike. My newest bike is a 2004 super Hawk. I found it on ebay and drove to Maryland to buy it today. It has 3200 miles and I got it for $2800 It has a memphis shades windshield and a Jardine RT One exhaust on it. The guy I got it off of was moving and bought it in 2009 with only 940 miles on it. This bike kicks ***. I have a 78 CB750 that I did a frame off restoration this winter but this bike is a different animal.

Beautiful bike at a killer price. When you need tire try Dunlop Q2. They are good for about 3,000 miles maybe 4,000 if you're lucky but they handle great and have awesome traction. Congratulations. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info on the tire. The rear is good enough for this year but I will be getting one for next year. Also I need a center stand as this one doesn't have one. How do those rear stands mount to the swing arm? Both my other bikes have the center stands from the factory.

You can't fit a center stand on these bikes.... well I guess you could if you were a good fabricator but I have never seen it done.
You need a rear stand. You can either fit spools to the swingarm or use a stand that lifts from the bottom of the swingarm.

Great looking bike! I just bought my first VTR Saturday. A 2002 with 18775 miles. stock but for the Sergent seat. Came with soft bags and nice tank bag. $3000.00 Took it for a shake down spin today, it is a different animal! Bike runs perfect but seemed to get a little hot, (215F), when I was in the twisties and letting it out a little. A chilly day in San Francisco so not sure if this is right.
