No doubt we're all fans of the Superhawk, but considering there are still brand new, unsold, Superhawks out there ('03s, 04s, etc) that can be purchased for $5999, your price is a bit high.
Sorry to hear that you still owe so much on the bike.

Yeah, that and the fact that most people on here know that you can buy a brand new 03' one now for $5999....No offense, but you may want to try and market it to someone who is not as familiar, or that knows what a great bike it is, but doesn't keep up with prices.....not that everyone would know what a deal you can get one for these days, but you get my point....
Hey, good luck, and enjoy the new one....

Not bashing this post, and best of luck with your sale, but is it a financed bike? A personal loan? what's the "you owe" bit? I'd check locally and the agreement details (it can even be illegal to sell a financed hire-purchase bike), don't want anyone getting in trouble.

You know it all comes down to finding the right buyer. That person that loves your bike. Location also plays a part. Being from Washington, those bikes in Georgia are less appealing than if they were in the same city or state.
I just sold my SuperHawk, the stock one (I'm keeping the streetfighter ) for $4800. It was a '98 with 30K miles in very, very clean condition. (The Heli bars and Youshimura slip-ons will be sold as soon as I get off my butt and take some pictures.)
Someone pointed out that it's difficult selling a S/H here, as most forum members already have one. I think this is true for the most part. My advice... Don't give up, try placing an add locally. Some future S/H owner may live just down the street from you.

The Superhawk is dated and not as advanced as the newest bikes. You will have a hard time finding a bike with the character of the Superhawk though. You must not have ever heard one with Two Brothers pipes. Best of luck on your search, check out the Triumph 675 triple sportbike. I hear it also sounds awesome and you won't be stuck with the same inline four sound as everyone else. Or maybe the Aprilla Tuono is you still want a V-twin sportbike with superbike bars. You would probably like the riding position better than the Superhawk.
I could have bought the latest, greatest, sportbike or even a Goldwing but I bought the Superhawk. The greatest 100 mile touring bike out there.
