Saddlebags

Anyone know who makes saddlebags for the Hawk that work with a passenger??? I have low-mounts so that is not an obstacle.

Uh, Define "work"?
The bags I have allow access to the passenger foot pegs, but the straps go over the rear seat, not the most comfy for a rear seat rider. But they do "work" with a rear passenger. We were just forced to add padding.

The only one's you find that don't mount with some strap/something over the seat are going to be hard bags with fixed mount plates, or very small side bags.

For the record, I've got Chase Harper ET4000's.
They hold a decent load of stuff, and with the included rain cover, were waterproof through all day rain.
I'll throw em over the bike and take a photo if you're interested.

Check out Cortech. I have the tail bag and it's quality stuff. Like stated earlier, your passenger will have to sit on straps, which shouldn't be much of a problem.

They are all over fleabay for reasonable prices.

those look nice. I bet the Rapid's are expensive.

I think red would be overkill on a red bike. Probably go with black. Cortechs look nice too!

+1 on cortech bags being a good buy. I still don't know how it will work two up seems like there won't be any room for her feet.

Looks like we forgot about Givi. While expensive, they do make a Mono Rack for the SH, so that you can have a hard case off the bag. Not "Saddle Bags", but will give the passenger a back rest.

That is the mount, then you'd have to pick out a case.

+1 on the chase harper et4000`s. I`ve been using a set for 10 years. Many 1 and 2 week long trips, never had anything get wet inside the bags. They`ll work with stock or high mount exhaust. The wife road on the back of the hawk for almost 3000 mi. in a week a few years ago, everyone fit fine.

I just mounted my black "old school harley bags" from my 81 superglide, on custom made (by me) brackets. They look like they came from honda. I'll send pics if you're interested.
