Route Info - From-Easton, Pa to Speedway, In

Heading to MotoGP race (Sept. '08) - I'm a non-GPS guy, I like looking at maps & feeling my way. But plan on taking as many backroads as possible.

Probably gonna slab I-78 / 81 to Chambersburg then west on Rt 30 then drop into Md, WVa - but have not ridden in that area since my R65LS days.

Thus, looking for fast sweepers thru northern WVa heading west into O hi o, then Indy.

So, if someone knows some good roads - please inform moi

Thanks for ur time

riding through wva

took a ride to virginia beach this summer. from my house i am about 40 miles from speedway. i rode a route from muncie, in. to charleston, wva. i belive the route was highway 60 in wva. it runs along the cyahoga river (spelling) it was a great route lots of twisties. through ohio was route 50 to rt 35 through chilicothe, oh. used the old trusty garmin gps set on fastest route. great ride.

I haven't ridden back there since my TX-500 and Norton Commando days. If I was going from Easton to Indy and had the time, I'd run up to Scranton and get U.S. 6 all across the top of Pa. I'd come down near Pittsburgh and then hit W. Va.
