So I took my front wheel off to paint my forks. Dipped them black to match my frame. Took my disks off so I could clean the wheel. The wheel had some knicks on it so I decided to dip it black to kind of refinish it. With the disks off I thought I should dip the gold part on them red. I originally bought the red to do a stripe around the rim thought it would be easier to tape and paint than to try and put a decal on it.

So here is the question, on the rim there is the outer lip and there is the another lip then the barrel of the wheel. I know that the stickers go on the inner lip. Any suggestions on which parts I should tape and paint? Just the very outer lip? just the inner lip or from the outer lip to the start of the barrel? It boils down to how much I want to tape and how good I can do it!!!!!!


Should I break up the lines around the rim? Looking for suggestions!!!!!
