Red IS the faster color!

Smokey got me yesterday and told me that Red is definitely the faster color and that I'd better take it easy riding something so flashy and fast. So there you have it, authoritative proof from the New York State Police that Red is the faster color. And btw, be careful - it's a holiday weekend and unmarked cops are everywhere.

Nassau co. LEOs like my blue 'Hawk. Perhaps the '03 blue is too close to Yam blue.

Red is THE #1 ticketed color, insurance surveys have shown that for years now. Red looks fast even standing still.

When I got stopped on the VTR it was right after my gear change and he drove through the median to stop me. 85/60

When I got stopped on the Interceptor I was running away from a Buick that was intentionally trying to prevent me from merging into traffic. After looking into my mirror to make sure I was well out in front, I look back and the first thing I see is DPS. He ran down another 50 yards and hooked a Uey. I just made the turn towards home and pulled off the road. By the time I got the stand down and the bike shut off, he was in my mirrors. I got off and removed my helmet. He was smiling as he walked up. "You were both speeding - you were faster." No kidding! I think he appreciated me waiting for him instead of trying to run.

Both times I was as courteous as possible, used every excuse in the book and dropped every name I knew.

They both checked my documents and let me go.

Of course, maybe that means the red ones are the ones easiest to catch due to a lower speed achievable. I'm guessing that is why fewer yellow ones are caught.

Cliby that's and awsome perspective.

Silver Bullet, Blue Streak, Black Blur.. Yellow uh.. fast thing. Red blob.

That's the order of things.

Cops don't arrest white hookers in yellow shorts.

They don't bother with the yellow ones because they know yellow is the color of cement mixers, dump trucks, and broken down taxi cabs.

It's the nut between the bars and the seat that drops the panties. (ie:It's not the clothes that make the man... )

Yellow is the fastest, We've already established this...

If you need to brag about it, it's probably not true....

Does this mean that the 05 titanium is invisible because it is so stealthy or does it make it the fastest because that is color of fighter jets?

Wouldn't the Primary colours be the fastest? they are the lightest, because less paint is used in the mix. So all you guys in black (and silver like me) will get left in the dust.

There is an argument advanced and Greg has the paint mix that states that the Yellow Birds have one less coat of primer making the fairings (perspective here guys!) slightly lighter making the yellow ones faster.

Everybody says it: It even looks fast when it's parked!

It can be said about the Silver Ones, Red Ones, and Blue Ones.

The other colors are just purty.
