Re: Rear Stand for the Superhawk

I've got the fly-n-cycle front and rear stands.
They work OK for light mechanical work.
The rear is about like Jim's stand.
You can come look at them if you want.
I think I paid $89 for both front & rear stands
I set my rear setand up with spacers so it always fit the VTR swing arm just right. Simple but effective.

I finished installing my new Gilles rearsets so if you want those Competition Werks Slash Cut rider pegs (silver) they are ready now.
Even back in the original packaging :-)

I bought a set of Handy stands a few years ago for $99 shipped (front and rear). I think they're $99+ shipping now. Still not a bad deal. They've held up well through many lifts.

I love my new, recently acquired PitBull stands, though.

Dawg, I think those will work well for the little lifting I'll be doing....It looks a lot like Jim's....his is a Motoboss.....I found those for $79.00 rear only....

thanks for the info.....Yeah I will probably get those pegs, I forgot to look at them on our last ride, but I am sure they will do....

Oops!

The Web site frame at the hyperlink in the post preceding this one does not work.

This one will, though,...(I hope)

I've got a Lockhart Phillips rear stand. It works well and I can put the bike on it and take it off by myself.

Re: Rear Stand for the Superhawk

I use Redline front and rear stands. Cheap, and work very well! No complaints.

www.redlinestands.com

The version for the VTR has rubber coated supports, no spool-type setup obviously.
