this may sound like a dumb question but where is the helmet lock on the SH?

 

I don't know, because I never use a helmet lock. If you are using it to transport a spare helmet for GF, I can see that. But for security while parked...theives just cut the D-ring strap, then go into a shop and say "My D-ring strap broke, so I need to order a new one".

Since my helmet was almost $800 list (I paid much less), I carry it with me.
