Cool New member - Saying hi from Australia :)

Hi guys, i have been lurking on here for a while but thought i would introduce myself.

Im a 26yo doctor in Gold coast, Australia. I've been riding since i was 20, and in that time have owned 9 CBR250RRs and a CBR929RR, but i found inline-4 bikes get me in too much trouble, so went and got VR and havent looked back

I'm on to my second Superhawk (firestorm in australia). A 2003 pic below:
Custom matt grey, indicators in mirrors only, yoshi exhaust(which sound nowhere near as good as my old kerkers), Aftermarket belly fairing
15T front sprocket. Ventura rack etc.

I just sold my 2000 model to a mate because i wanted the bigger fuel tank and digital dash.

Heres my old one, left it on my balcony on 32nd floor when i went on holidays

its also getting to the time where guys are out riding the hermit crab state during winter up here is starting to end.

that f100 is beautiful, that is THE truck i would restore and make a daily driver if i had the money.

dont like many yellow superhawks but that one looks REAL sharp...had kerkers on a different bike and man i bet the hawk rumbles with them!

cheers and welcome!

It's unusual for a first post to be titled "Come pay me attention!" Aside from making it sound as though English is not your first language, it's more than a little narcissistic. Coupling that with the sarcasm of your second post "One welcome... What a friendly forum :/" is not going to endear yourself to many. It's nice that you're a doctor. I'm sure there's a story behind owning 9 CBR250RR's in six years. Have you posted anything on the OzFirestorm site?

Welcome, nice collection of toys you have there. I bet that truck is hard to find parts for there.

What you need reassurance from strangers to feel worthwhile in life??? What are you some 12 year old schoolgirl?

Mate, it's a motorcycle enthusiast forum.. post a New or clarifying Tech question after doing a search for the answer yourself, and watch the members come out to help
Need something in AU that is only shipped to the US, ask for help and see what you get.
Need a part, ask,,,,then be surprised it's available, cheaper than some local ****** at the breakers will sell it to you for. And if you ask right, it might even get sent to you as a birthday present so you don't get hammered with import charges. (i've been racing in AU twice and played the import, mandatory exploit games with AU customs... not nice blokes)

But ya, on the whole welcome I need your attention and approval things.. Not so much here

But just for you

haha thanks for comments guys.

nnjhawk02 - rugby is massive in my state(queensland) but i havent gone to see a game yet, i'm from the south where it's not popular and i've only been here a year.

Bearshawk - Thanks man the nice the about queensland is that it is tropical and so it's riding weather most of the year! As opposed to Melbourne(south) where i would usually get to ride maybe 10 days out of the year haha.

I got the truck pretty rough and im restoring it for a daily too! doing a V8 conversion to it this weekend. It's 4x4 so hopefully alot of fun to be had camping etc.

The kerkers- i have bought them back from my mate who bought the bike from me. So i'll soon get them on the grey vtr and get rid of the yoshis, they are quite high-pitched in comparison.

comedo - thread title was meant to be a joke (hence the winky smiley face), ironically pointing out the intended purpose of a "hello i'm new here" post. Do you really thing a narcissist would have enough insight to write that? haha

I'm a little narcissistic, but not THAT much haha

I'm a bit of a provoker, It was a gamble that most people would think "screw you, i'm not gonna pay you attention" when they saw that, but i thought the responses would be interesting

So far it looks like at least a few people have realized it's a joke and ignored it

9 baby blades is a bit of a story, but basically would buy-fix-ride-sell and repeat. Only crashed one...

Oz forums are dead since there is prob about 300 people in the whole country riding firestorms and only 10 of them go on that forum haha.

RWhisen - cheers man, there are quite a few people importing parts for these now the aussie dollar has caught up to the USD. so parts are not too bad but still cost 2.5x what u guys would pay.

E.Marquez - yes i do... hahaha
cheers matey. WHere about did you go to do racing and what class?

Greetings - You might want to consider replacing the CCTs with upgraded manual versions.
