well im new round these parts but have had bikes b4... just picked up a 99 superhawk for $4700 (i know not a great deal but its in good shape and its rare to find a honda in these parts) so im happy with it. it is my first V-twin and man they sound cool, i must say though i do believe my old hoped up F2 had more power (if you know how to ride a torqueless 600) that is. but im sure this thing will get there, right now its a bone stock black one. got some piecies on order soon to have a relatively custom undertail. then im gunna pull the flywheel and chuck it up on the lathe. o i guess it does have some slip on D&D end cans, anyways itl have some bawls in a few months after ive wrenched on her some.... ill get up some pics after the undertail comes in and i get it painted and put on...

Fastest color, with a different rider maybe. Welcome aboard..the F2 may have had better top end...maybe, but low and mid are MUCH better on the hawk. Once you get use to it you'll be able to use it's power better and leave the memories of the F2 behind. The newer 600's have more but I don't think the F2 does but believe me it's a fun bike and with a little work can compete with just about anything in the right enviorment.

i grew up on high RPM machines, i know how to launch and ride keeping I4's in the power, i must say though the torque of this thing sure brings asmile to my face though... sure is a different type of fun to ride.
