Looks like coolant. Water/antifreeze.
Looks like you've got some leaking and running over your stator cover there. The fix depends on where it's leaking from. Can you find the leak?

Coolant for sure, you can tell from the separation lines around, the more purified water penetrated to the concrete floor and the heavier consistency oily substance in the coolant stays on top.

yes it has been very very cold here lately. Single Digits
Had the head replaced last year so could be something from that.
Did a little more looking on it and this is what i found you can see where the liguid starts to freeze and turn to icle.
Is this somehting i need to look into fixing now or later?
This summer after i got the bike back i almost had an overheat issue due to low antifreeze. Wondering where to start looking or if it should wait to warmer weather? I added distilled water after and it ran fine the next few times i rode with no issues. I assumed some antifreeze leaked out with the head replacement and just didn't get back in. So what do you think??? Looking for advice.....

Should I add some distilled water to it and see if it will leak more and where from so I can figure out where it's leaking and how to fix it? Don't want to be laid up this summer from this!

Identifying the source of leaks can be difficult but that icicle is a big help in pointing you in the right direction.
I'd infer that the bike is not stored in a heated garage. It would be safer to add coolant rather that pure distilled water when temperatures are so low.

Had a similar issue recently with random coolant on the floor under the bike. Couldn't find a leak anywhere and with the cold temps here near zero for almost two months now, I talk to a guy at the Honda dealer that told me they used silicone hoses on our bikes which will under extreme cold tend to sep or leak a little bit which is what we are assuming happened in my case because I have since run the bike and no issues at all. No leaks or overheat issues.

Fair enough....
So anyone that knows the hoses are OEM on their SH..have Silicon hoses installed from the factory? ( I am pretty darn sure the answer will be no... which might indicate you should be wary of other "facts" that dealer tells you)

Mine will lea a bit from the hose running from the thermostat housing to the rear cylinder (I think) occasionally and randomly. I've tightened the clamps but it still does it, I don't really care enough to replace the hoses with nice aftermarket silicone ones which can leak when cold. If you really want to find the leak take some really cheap spray on deoderant that leaves a white powder and spray it in the are you suspect the leak.

Bike is tucked away pretty tight for the winter tough to find where the leak is and pull any plastics off of it. Was going to add more coolant and see if I still have the leak. Temps finally have gone to the + side of the temp guage. Is there any coolant that can be picked up at the local hardware store or other store?

this 1st pic what are we looking at?
what section of the bike.
I cant quite make it out.

That's the thermostat- inside is a valve that opens up when the bike gets warm enough to allow the coolant to flow through the motor. The bottom (temp sensor) fastener does not appear to be tightened all the way. It almost looks like it's dripping on the choke cable and running down that.
That's black over spray on the connectors right? Or is it something else?
