Cut, cleaned and painted my mag sprocket cover. also painted slave cyl.
welded final gussets in subframe
built and welded in a tail light mount
looks good
adding a second led light
Finally building a brake lever and mount

Tail light looks good, nice and bright.I would put the second light just under the first, maybe spaced about 3" apart.Would look like that light on a SV 1000,only sideways.
What are you planning for rear bodywork?

How I manged to lurk on this forum since last September without picking up on this thread is a question for the ages. And here I was starting a thread to ask truck about the Acewell gauges he plans on using, to which he replies, check out my build. And there went the last hour and a half of my life - eyes bulging out of my head at all the fabrication and custom work... this build is pure motorcycle ****. OC Choppers can suck it.
Though it goes without saying... keep up the good work.

Lookin' good, Truck. I like the black rearsets. I'm in the grouped-taillight club - to each his own. Putting a 'hugger' on? Would be good to keep the works clean. Can't wait to see the bodywork! (Though I could look at your 'inspiration' on the fridge for quite a while, too.

ThaTS what ill be doing
Thanks man, I think you have been here longer than I have. I should be wiring up the gauge soon. Got to finish this thing up
no hugger, Ive not once ever seen a hugger I like. I live down a 1/4 mile dirt road so The bike wont be clean anyways.
Yep, Im about to order them. They are supposed to be pretty bright. Rear ones are going in the subframe tubes and front ones are going either in the headlight housing or on the fender

I like the brushed look idea; It will add some texture to the the bike and give it a more tough look and tie in with the wrap on the headers.
Making it red will pull the eye to the bottom of the bike right away. You don't want people to mostly focus on the can, you want them to see ALL your work. Only go with hard colors on the smaller bits like you already have (CCTs, calipers). Maybe the tip could go red?

Its already brushed aluminum. Thats the state its in right now. I just polished the tip, still not sure.
I cant anodize myself, so thats out of the question. Im thinking of using the metallic engine color, but only in thin coats so the brushed aluminum shows through.

Powder coat it for sure. There are a lot of badass powders available. Any color or effect you want. It can look anodized with the right powder.
