took a few min to hook up a fuel tank, its the stock coolant resivour.

Its only running on the front cyl in this vid, cause the rear cyl isnt getting fuel. I did have it running on both, just not in the vid. BOY IS IT MEAN

A pair of big noisy carbs with no airbox and no muffler on the exhaust.. of course it will sound mean. I have always liked the sound of big sport twins.

How goes the fibre fabrication? (tail piece and tank)

Edit: even with as loud as it is, you can still hear the distinctive VTR chirping in your vids. :P love it!

It needs some work, but there's potential. Sounds like an ol B&S lawn mower with a ratted out exhaust at the moment. Add to it a nice whirring sound and you've got something sick.

Ha, sounds just like my Hawk GT (well a Bros here) over the winter when the front coil got a bit too damp!

When I first saw the shot of the fork brace with the pink foam behind the forks I thought you were setting up to make a pattern for a new fairing. Then in the next shot I noticed the front end and foam are laying against the wall

Ha, sorry to dissapoint. Fairings are not my thing. As much as im intrigued be engines and frames, im not one to cover it all up.

Wow! That's pretty cool, building the oil cooler bracket onto a steering damper, but what's the point?

I'm running the same cooler. Given your mounting position you may not need to mod it but I had to have the left side inlet cut and rotated 45 deg (kept it inthe stock position, however)

Done list

mounted new larger oil cooler, plumbed it in

built a gp shift lever, fully adjustable

removed front faring mounts from frame, cleaned up and painted

removed casting and forging marks from both triples, and painted

painted steering damper and mount

began 3 piece front fender, I need to finish my fork brace before I can finish it though.

been running the bike some more. Front cyl has a fuel issue im working on.

working a few bugs out of my wiring harness, like the starter button not working

still need to buy a battery, air filter, and fuel cap and I can build the gastank then tail

camera doesnt pick up the deep tones that sound great

Quick Reply: My first VTR, well most of one
