I like the fact that there are constant updates instead of randomly. I know it's in large part to the amount of time you are able to put into it on a pretty constant basis but it's still nice to now have to wait a month like a season ending cliffhanger

keep us updated on your knee mate, It will be interesting to see what the doctors say about it. As for the bike ....every time I read the threads it makes me smile, keep it going . So far so good, Will you be finishing the back brake soon? Have you thought about chroming the rear-sets and adding some bling ?

So, I was just hinking... "he can build a bike from scratch, but not a knee? and he calls himself a craftsman?!"
But really, I was thinking, and it is hindsight, but it looks like you are having some trouble running the coolant line and needed to adjust its shape. What if you had made the rear sub frame your coolant lines?? I expect to see results tomorrow!

In all honesty I thought about doing that. But I decided not to because I wanted to use 3/4 tubing and I dont think it would flow enough.
It would also compromise strength in certain ways, but It would be cool.
Oh and Ive got an artificial hip, but not knee

Top build you are doing there - i just spent 2 hours reading everything you seriously have some skills (I was chuffed about fitting my undertray )
Hope your knee gets sorted soon and keep up the hard work - do you ever sleep looking at the speed your doing stuff whilst still building a SM and helping your Dad and god knows what else
Oh yeah I'll be after some of your ccts soon

amen Brother. I love the vibe you had going on your old Monster. Nothing looks better than flat black if you ask me. I expect this project to look twice as mean and make women and children cry as it goes down the street.

No need for a sticky since it's updated regularly. It naturally stays at the top.
Trucker, PM replied on the SA brace.
Lookin great on the bike. What's with the tiny hands on the x-ray reaching up to your knee?

valve cover is done, welded in the hose fitting and the threaded blank to hold the deflector shield
As you can see it will function as if its stock.
coolant system 95% complete
overall, finally coming together

I got and Installed some TMB Motorsport CCT's today. They look great and install was a breeze.
If mine look a little different from the others its because it is Different. I used a 3.5 inch bolt instead of a 4 inch bolt. Weight savings, every little bit counts.
