ship a bike from florida to maine. how? how much? who? anyone know anything?

 

I actually recently met this guy, he has a huge trailer (10 bikes I think) & does all the major bike rallies. He is out of new york but I figure I could pass alont the info. His name is joseph wintje, ph#(646)436-0970.
Dont know where you find them but there are alot of guys who make a living buying vehicles at aution & shipping them all along the coast. Maybe try to track one down.

 

I've used federal and JC shipping each. very good experience with both and have friends who used them also. they will do online estimates but pays to call to verify. some charge more for residential vs. business delivery - but business delivery can mean you just meet them at a Home depot parking lot or something - just so they don't have to drive down small residential streets. seems like it is always very close to $500 with either. good luck

ditto, JC shipped my hawk from VA to HI was only like $1475. very happy with there communications through out the entire shipping process. will use them again when i need to.
