Me and three of my buds scored tickets to Saturdays affair. We get a pit tour at some point around noon, they said to bring a pen and something to autograph. Now I don't now why Team Honda would want my autograph, but they can have it!
I hope to get some great pics, maybe some gopro vid. I'll just ask one of the Honda guys if they mind runnin my gopro on the tank and voila.
Anyone else going? Wanna meet up and pound beer?

Well, I did not see you, but I saw your brother fall on the first lap, then come back and drag ELBOW all day. He rode right by us on the back of a TW200. I have to figure out how to get pics out of a folder so I can put up a few. Mine kinda suck, but my buddy had a decent camera so I hope to get pics from him.
I did not have the right clearance to get into the pits from any angle so I no meety my heros.

Can you imagine the lean angle to drag your elbows. Marquez is not big like Spies (who did it in Superbike), or Simoncelli who was also tall.
Who else in MotoP does this and runs at the front! Please note that I know it's been done in 250 and 125, in fact Jean Michele Bayle used to do it in 250 but again a fairly tall guy!

If you guys havent seen the races where marquez had to start from the back and still won you should see it. He was (is) a real phenom.
On this I think he stalled or his bike was not in gear so he has some time to make up.
He is known to crash other riders out in somewhat scummy fashion.
But he will add excitement if anyone can stay near him, or check-out wins stoner style.
This is the new face of racing cuz I can tell you all the crazy fast 125cc USGPRU "kids" that I scrap with on the track in NJ look exactly the same way. Like they could pass me under my bike. They keep the CofG below knee level.

Holy WOW! Never saw those... Looks like he needs an S on his chest at times! But I agree, he's got everyone covered w/ power. I hate seeing the dirty driving though, total BS and makes me hope someone does it back to him.

We watched practice Friday, quailiying on Saturday and the race on Sunday from a bunch of different turns. The amazing thing was the 3 fastest guys were faster everywhere. It was usually just a 1/10th here or there, earlier on the throttle coming out of a turn. The Honda definately had the power on the straight but not by much. The difference seemed to be setup. When watching the fast guys (Marquez, Pedrosa and Lorenzo) it seemed their bike was just more settled than the others. Don't get me wrong they were all Fast!
All the talk about putting your money into suspension vs horsepower makes more sense once you see it in person.
