I've just been reading what you've done in your other post.

Nice job

I really like the twin headlamp set-up.

+1 on the headlights. Looks good otherwise. Maybe go to one rad in front or black out.

I´m sorry, but i don´t understand what do you mean by that.
I´m also im the midle of the modding of my bike, and my goal is also the look of the speed triple.
But unfortunatly i can´t find a dual headlight like those in here.
And ebay´s also hasn´t got any.
Now, the bike.
I also think the headlights would be more nice if they´re a bit more together, but Super said it´s no need to be exactly like the speed triple.
And if he like´s it like this, it´s his bike. I think a bike should be for the owner-like, and not for other´s-like.
I´d also get a small screen on the top of it, but that´s me.

You´ll have to give a discount on my english, it´s very rare for me to write or speak it.
And please feel free to mp me or correct me any time, i´ll thank you for it.

for those of us who still have some male hormones left, your statement could be construed to mean "you really want to get you hands on some nice headlights, hooters, *****, knockers, bosoms, bombers, ****, breasts, or in italian, seni". Like, "she has a nice set of seni and i'd like to get my hands on them". Don't worry though, we won't tell your wife, girlfriend, or boyfriend. hahaha

Yeah the triple is an awesome lookin bike. why don't you order a headlight set from triumph or check the motorcycle salvage yards for something off a crashed bike, maybe check some cutom applications or think about buying singles and having a mounting brace made, possibly with a small screen like you want.

Ok, ok, i get it. And i also could get my hands on a pair of those too. No sacrifice in that.
I´m from a generation that still has ALL the testos intact, so i´m one of those who can´t get enought of female.

As for the bike, i´m searching every day for it.
Mine´s in red also like supers, and it´s been quite a coincidence that he was looking for the speed triple also.
The chrome headlights looks really cool in the italian red
I´ll post here when i´m finished.

Those are 3,5", too small. The difficulty is exactly in finding the 5 3/4" ones with the clear glass.

Dont know were is a triumph dealer in my area cause the previous closed.
But a stock set of speed triple headlights sould have a forbiden price.

Sorry for the posts about my mod in your topic Super.
Only happens because your bike has the look i´m looking for, you know.

Super, i have a question for you.
Have you got any problems with over heating wires from the double headlights?
I read in another post that the stock wires over heat with 2 lamps.
Did you had any problems with it?
I already found the headlights. Just waiting for them.

luis... http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm

The stock wiring is 16 gauge... The wiring lenght is roughly 9 feet... With a load of 65W (one H4) the voltage drop is ~4%... With two H4 you get an ~8% voltage drop...

The meaning... You get 91% or 82% of the nominal light capacity but much, much more yellow light... You "burn" 4% or 8% as heat... That's ~3W or ~6W... So with stock wiring your 65W bulb is actually a yellow 62W bulb... And with two of them you get two very yellow 59W bulbs...

One H4 with a relay and correct cable will produce the full 65W... And it's actually just 17% weaker than the two in pure luminosity... But it's white... Two of them with a relay outshines the rest by a mile...
